Responsibilities:

• Review individual and business income tax returns and train staff
• Perform income, estate, gift, sales and payroll tax research
• Preparation of complex individual, business, and fiduciary income tax returns

• Various projects as assigned to assist Partners and Management staff in helping our clients in achieve their financial goals

Qualifications:

• Supervise our team of payroll and bookkeeping staff
• Oversee preparation of periodic payrolls and payroll and sales tax returns for our clients and ensure timely and accurate filings
• Review payrolls and payroll and sales tax returns prepared for our clients by department staff
• Oversee and review bookkeeping services performed by department staff
• Assist in the preparation of complex payrolls, reconciliations, and bookkeeping assignments
• Research payroll and sales tax issues for our clients
• Keep management informed by reviewing and analyzing reports, summarizing information, identifying trends
• Identify and implement improvements to departmental processes to improve efficiency

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures
